Service Manager (Calgary, AB)

Target Pest Control is a locally owned and operated pest control company in Calgary. We are currently hiring a part-time pest control technician for the summer in Calgary, AB. This position has the ability to turn into full-time should we find the right candidate. We offer flexible hours to help maintain a work life balance and all training will be provided and paid for. Personal protective equipment is provided as well.

Job Description:
-Flexible hours / schedule
-Following set route
-Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas
-Place and set traps to capture and remove animals
-Perform pest related cleanups
-Minor home repair work for pest proofing
-Refilling bait stations for rodent / wildlife and pest control services
-Some physical labour, crouching, kneeling, bending
-Regular use of ladder, various hand tools
-Work environment includes outdoors, in crawl spaces in attics and with heights
-Diagnosing customer pest issues and determining proper solutions (providing inspections and treatments)
-Providing excellent customer service during visits, answering questions, building rapport, and collecting positive reviews
-Effectively presenting information to clients either one on one or small group situations
-Must keep strong communication with office with completing reports that maintain proper safety procedures and label instructions

Qualifications and skills:
-Clean criminal record (required)
-Maintain valid drivers license (required)
-Clean driving abstract (required)
-High School Diploma (preferred)
-Structural applicators license and exterior rodent license (preferred)
-Previous experience not required as we provide training, but is considered a strong-asset
-Professional and confident demeanor and appearance
-Must be able to read / write / speak fluent English
-Strong communication skills needed, comfortable with technology
-Sales experience is an asset
-Schedule flexibility, dependable
-Work with minimal supervision, reliable
-Must meet physical requirements
-Must be comfortable with heights and small spaces
